A Brief History
Studio Spear was founded by Jeffrey Spear in 1978. Operating from Santa Monica, California, the company specialized in logo, trademark and packaging design. Over time, and due to the national recognition that Studio Spear's work attracted, our scope of work expanded to include strategic planning and a larger volume of marketing related activities.In 1992, Studio Spear relocated to Melbourne where it continued to attract business from leading consumer brands - this time Australian in origin. In 1999, and with a desire to be closer to an aging family, Jeff brought his business back to America and continues to thrive in Baltimore, Maryland.
Studio Spear continues to provide leading edge research and planning as well as impactful creative solutions, including trademarks and packaging, to both national and international brands.
